Thank you for reading my profile. Talking about oneself is not easy but here goes! I am an incurable romantic, you know, the type who thinks that the age of romance and chivalry is not dead!
I have been a dancer on and off for most of my life (mainly ballroom and latin american and later, folk dancing) which has enabled me to remain fit and in good health! So it would be nice to meet someone who enjoys dancing. I go to the gym a couple of times a week which also helps me keep fit.
I enjoy dining out, although I'm not a bad cook, and cheerful, attractive company would would be infinitely better than cooking for one!.
I enjoy foreign travel and have been to Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, USA including Florida 4 times, Hawaii, Spain, France, Germany, Egypt, and South Africa. Not sure if I've missed anywhere out, but there's still a large chunk of the world left to visit with the right partner!
I speak reasonable Spanish and wouldn't mind moving to Spain with the right partner, as I like the sun and the continental pace of life. However, nothing is cast in stone, and I am nothing if not flexible, indeed, I would move anywhere for the right person!!
Although well beyond retirement age, I still work and have no intention of giving up any time soon (unless the right person comes along and can persuade me otherwise!).
I have a good sense of humour, and my glass is always half full. I am an affectionate , tactile person, and tend to wear my heart on my sleeve

My ideal match should be blonde, with long hair, attractive, tactile with good sense of humour (well, I can dream can't I?). Someone who wants to love and be loved, and who is happy to hold hands in public! A best friend, lover, and confidante!
A liking for good food and wine would be a bonus, as would an interest in foreign travel. However, the all important chemistry is a must. It's something that's either there or it isn't!
I would prefer someone under the age of 65, and although this is not cast in stone, anyone over that age would have to be extremely young in outlook and have the stamina to keep up with me!! I will only be dragged into old age screaming and kicking!!
