Hello,
I am just an old hippy, who still loves Bob Dylan (the original poet) I love to laugh and enjoy life, as this is it --- not a dress rehearsal.
I am a country person, who loves the outdoors. Nice long walks in either the countryside or by the coast. That 'free spirit' thing again.
I love all types of music from 50's and 60's to Floyd, Bowie, S&G, to Irish, rock to classical and opera, so a pretty wide choice.
I am a voracious reader, novels for escapism and autobiographies or reference books, to 'dip in and out of'. I also read and write poetry.
A few favourite things --- walking in the snow, frosty mornings, the first snowdrop, the dawn chorus, walking barefoot in the dew, poppies in cornfields, bright blue skies, kicking leaves in autumn, the roar of the ocean, walking hand in hand on a deserted beach, under a starry sky. A good old bacon buttie (now and then) and a glass of chilled dry white wine, with good food and good conversation.
I would like to find someone with good old fashioned values, like myself. I do respect peoples feelings and their space, and would expect the same.

I would like to meet someone who is free to be a friend (first and foremost) as I believe friendship is a good basis for any relationship. If it progresses to anything else, that would be a bonus.
I am easy going and considerate, but not a pushover.

Ideally, you will share my love of the countryside, and nature, the simple things in liife, and they are free !!! Also music (all types) plays a big part in my life. And I enjoy good food and good conversation, that would be great if we were in tune with those.
