About him
I'm a professional opera singer, based in the Cotswolds. I often travel for work (UK and abroad). Being afforded time to explore parts of the world whilst working is one of the perks. Back home, I am very creative, piling loads of energy and passion into painting in my studio, woodwork in my man shed, making my garden beautiful (recent wildflower garden sown to attract the pollinators). Growing vegetables too. Nature and the natural world are very important to me, and a source of endless wonder. I don't watch a lot of TV..instead giving my time over to projects that make me happy. People I know would say I'm gregarious and outgoing. I like to meet people, often found talking to strangers in the street. Getting older I care less about what people think of me...and isn't that liberating? Obviously I am mad on music (jazz pianist too) and have been a singer since I was 8 years old (chorister for the Royal Family at Windsor Castle). I like funny and meaningful conversation, doing quick crosswords, meeting my mates at the pub. I prefer to get my exercise with an active lifestyle rather than bench pressing in a gym. I am generally a very positive person, who believes that life is a privilege and needs to be filled with fun and new experiences.
