About her
I’m a former teacher turned lighthouse keeper and writer, coming out a five year long battle with cancer and looking for someone to celebrate being alive with. I’m content single but wonder if there’s someone out there who might enjoy sharing the highs and lows of this existence by my side. I currently live in the countryside with my two children and rescue kitten, enjoying the slow, good life.
I enjoy reading, writing, singing whilst I cook, slow drives to the beach on sunny days, playing D&D with friends, info dumping about lighthouses and puffins and Good Omens to anyone who will listen, star gazing, hot tubs in winter and sea swims in summer, spending time with the people who matter to me and planning memory-making trips.
My dream is to move to one of the Scottish islands someday… so if you live there you are already winning big in my book!
My friends would describe me as their safe place, the nurturer and protector of the group. My favourite thing is to make others feel seen, heard and appreciated. Life is short, tell people you love them, wear the fun clothes, say yes as much as you can and spend more time on love than on hate.
