Although I am very independent I miss the closeness and the companionship of a relationship - the sunsets, sunrises, the visits to the coast and the country, the walks, the shared experiences. This would be great to experience with the right person. I have a 'weird' sense of humour, but I'm not afraid to laugh at my own mistakes. I volunteer for a very worthwhile charity and enjoy it very much. It might take a while for someone to get to know me, but I hope it will be worthwhile. I am actually quite shy, but outwardly I get on with everyone and I am quite outgoing. A bit of a contradiction!

I would like honesty and trust from the right person. What a way to start I hear you saying! However, without trust and honesty I don't believe relationships work. I realise that everyone likes their own space sometimes, including myself, but it would be nice to have someone to share experiences with - those sunsets and sunrises, walks along the beach and in the country - shared experiences and a good place to start.
