I’ve lived for a long time in the countryside. I like walking, thinking, writing (I'm a writer). Interests, blimey - ideas, animals, art, politics, music, pretty well everything, except for cars, tractors and other machines. Natural history (especially bird-watching). I love good theatre - good books - mountains, especially in n.w. Scotland. I’m pretty talkative – not at all the silent type. I’m very determined, have a lot of energy, both mental and physical.

I'd love to meet someone intellectually curious, intelligent, interested in a wide range of ideas; someone who is empathic, big on kindness and laughs a lot. Someone with poetry in their soul? I guess it'd help if you like going to the theatre, reading good books, and feel at home in the countryside. And also like conversation and cuddles.
Politically, I’m left-leaning; not sure I could cope with any right-wingers. (Or fox-hunters, for that matter. Or anti-vaxxers...)
