About her
I'm looking for a good companion as well as a lover. I have a relaxed, civilised lifestyle but I'd like the fun and satisfaction of sharing experiences with someone else.
I have an apartment in central London which makes a great base for visiting exhibitions and theatres - it's very pleasant to be able to stroll home afterwards without worrying about catching the last train.
I enjoy cooking and food - a leisurely meal with good conversation is a fine way to spend an evening. I like being active and physical too, though - walking, swimming, Pilates, etc.
I work on a project basis so have short bursts of intensive work followed by lots of free time, which allows me to get out of London, visit family and friends abroad, and explore other parts of the world. Italy is one of my favourite destinations - I love the art and architecture and sense of history there. The sensuality of the Mediterranean lifestyle is very appealing to me.
I've always appreciated the cultural life of cities but recently I've become equally interested in spending time in beautiful or dramatic landscapes.
I'm an eclectic reader and enjoy the stimulation of being introduced to new ideas and perspectives.
I have a lot of care and attention to give and our relationship would certainly be a priority for me. However, I'm a fairly self-sufficient and low-maintenance person and wouldn't need constant reassurance or phone calls!
I prefer meeting in three dimensions as soon as possible rather than long exchanges of messages. I'm not looking for a virtual relationship or online flirtation.

I get on best with clever, creative men who think for themselves - scientists, engineers, artists, writers. Tradition and received wisdom don't mean very much to me.
While meeting someone who lives locally would be ideal, my time is flexible so a longer-distance relationship wouldn't be impossible.
But putting aside the practicalities, I'd love to meet a warm, passionate man - someone kind and caring with protective instincts and a big heart!
