Lively, sociable. I like walking, Pilates, gym, swimming, reading, technology/computers, gardening,cinema, theatre ... I live in a village, love the mountains and countryside but also like the buzz of the city. Lived around London for many years. I still spend a lot of time there with my elder son and his family. Also visit my younger son and grandchildren in Australia (Brisbane) once a year. I still work (freelance) but fit it around other activities. I have lots of friends and enjoy my independence, but miss the company of someone special. Favourite places: Glasgow where I was brought up; Aberdeenshire (great walking); Edinburgh and London for the buzz, and of course Perthshire where I live now.

Preferably someone who likes the countryside as well as city pursuits. Who likes a laugh but can be serious as well. I could say all the usual things about sense of humour etc etc but I guess chemistry and that 'spark' is the most important.
