About her
I’m naturally inquisitive, vivacious, pretty intelligent I think, love fun and laughter, enjoy good food and wine, restaurants and hotels, but probably love sea and skies more.
I swim most mornings (indoors, though I do have a wetsuit and all the wild swimming gear) and love country and coastal walks, but I’m happier with distance than height. Anyway, it’s kind of not what you do but who you do it with really. And much as I love a walk in the elements, I’m more of a city girl than the outdoor type at heart.
I’m open to suggestion and adventure - though not of the extreme sort - quite impulsive and love driving my car fast, particularly with the roof down. My life is busy and full but I’d love to rearrange that for the right man. I like literature, theatre, music and galleries and love interesting conversations and - sometimes - heated exchanges of ideas. I’m quite independent but throw myself wholeheartedly into a relationship with the right man. But I won’t smother you or expect you to be there 24/7.
I like holding hands, hugs and kisses and being made to feel irresistible. I’m tactile, romantic and need physical closeness. But I need to get to know you and trust you first.
I live by the sea in Fife but my work takes me to other parts of the country, so a man who lives in easy reach of Fife but likes some independence is my dream. I have family in Edinburgh, Durham, London and Shanghai and friends all over the place, so tend to travel quite a lot. I’d love to find a man who’d like to come along too - at least sometimes.

Gutsy enough to speak the truth is probably my top prerequisite. Intelligence, creativity and an open mind are close seconds. If you are gregarious and love having a houseful of friends and/or family you might be near perfect. It would help if you’re not always away up mountains, sailing the seven seas or doing some extreme sport or another. I’m not very moderate and don’t suppose my ideal man will be either and, as I’m expecting you to be living a busy life, it would be wonderful to have enough interests in common to let us enjoy things together where we can. Do you like galleries, but museums not so much? Do you like beautiful hotels and fabulous restaurants? Do you like beach walks, keeping moderately fit, long lunches with friends, daft pub quizzes (but only very occasionally, with best friends and because you’re fun but also competitive?), serious conversations about things that matter, entertaining, theatre, live gigs and the joy of being alive? Do you love your family, crave seeing your kids (if you have any), but don’t live in their pocket? Are you inquisitive and have a childlike wonder at the glory of the world? Do you have strong views about things that matter (did I already say that?), sometimes play devil’s advocate just for the hell of it, but sometimes just don’t give a toss? Do you like hugs and kisses and walking arm in arm or holding hands? Are you unafraid of public shows of affection? Are you spontaneous? Can you handle a woman who would answer yes to all of that and more? Well where the hell have you been all my life?
