I am loving the bit of extra space after retiring from the emotionally involving day job, and finding my way into this next phase of life: neither cramming myself with too much stuff – and yet all these things I still want to do … including writing, sculpting more; connecting up more to old and to new friends; finding a way to make some contribution to the world we leave; and discovering, travelling slowly, partly thro house-swapping. So lucky to have this time for now, with fitness and (if I’m careful) sufficient funds. Not yet ready for only fire and the telly.
