Thoughtful, reflective, slow burning, creative, I'm an arts enthusiast - particularly for cinema, theatre and literature. I'm interested in others and what makes them tick and that makes me a good listener. I've had a career divided between, and sometimes combining, education with the professional theatre (as actor, director, writer). I also dabble a bit in property, really because I enjoy setting up places for people, not exploiting them. I see myself as articulate sociable and caring, having perhaps an empathy for life's outsiders. I have independent views. I have no time for tv - it dulls my appetite for cinema. I also enjoy reading, theatre, galleries, walking, cycling, restaurants, some DIY work and living in London. I play Scrabble and do mid-level cryptic crosswords. I listen to the radio and have music on a lot. Of which I like folk, jazz, some classical and have a particular penchant for 30's Dance Band music: ' Love is the sweetest thing'!
