About him
I'm a philosopher, historian and poet - currently live in a castle in Scotland I'm also a Druid Christian Buddhist and live in the most marvellous stretch of Scottish countryside with a sea loch outside my windows, and mountains the other direction. I was born in Canada, and have degrees in history and peace studies, and teach religious studies and philosophy. I've travelled to about 33 countries around the world so far...
Previously I have lived in Wales, London, Sussex, Canada.. and have loved aspects of all of them.. i feel at home everywhere on the planet. I describe myself as an Intelligence agent for the Kingdom of God, a country not yet fully born, when my students ask me where I come from..!
I'm up for friendship and love, and wisdom-exchanges, and sharing ideas, and passions and interests.. I have a huge library (over 10,000 monographs, papers, documents, correspondence. I should add that I'm also into Tantric Buddhism and ideally want to find a suitable consort for esoteric tantric practice - mixing meditation, massage and sexuality. Too much to ask for ? I dont see why.. Its what we all deserve for God's sake..

I'm also a writer, published several books, non-fiction - academic studies, but not at all, hopefully, deadly dull - mostly theology, philosophy, history, education and peace studies. I am also a poet and a novelist and playwright...

I suppose my ideal consort would be a mixture of Hypatia, Cleopatra, Mary Magdalene, Bettie Page and a librarian with major interests in book classification ! But not someone who isn't into passion and magic - I want a Muse who also knows how to entertain, delight, inspire, entrance, pleasure and share ecstatic illuminations in mutual intensity of joy - at whatever level of being seems appropriate, be it intellectual, mystical or sensual ! She would probably own a vineyard in Tuscany and a flat in Florence, and be writing a PhD on the secret love affairs of Renaissance popes.. and how the women behind the scenes influenced the direction of renaissance philosophy.. well, that's just for starters..!
