I am a confident and lively person with a sense of humour. I am self reliant but prefer not to go solo.
I enjoy theatre, concerts, visiting historic houses, and eating out at restaurants and pubs. I like to relax with a G&T or a glass of wine and a good box set. Much better with two though!
I participate in U3A activities in my area. I play bridge, belong to a group that meets to discuss international politics, and in good weather play croquet.
I love my garden and especially reclining under a tree with a good book.
For holidays I prefer warm places, particularly Italy and southern France. I'd also like to see more of the UK.

I have two grown up sons, both married, and two grandchildren.
I was born and brought up in Kent, worked in the London area all my life and now live in leafy Surrey.
Careerwise I was a senior exec in a variety of industries including music, publishing, TV, retail and travel.
