About him
I'm a great lover of the outdoors, golfing, skiing and walking in particular in an effort to keep relatively fit!! I also attend the gym two or three times a week to do Body Combat and Body Pump and enjoy most sports, as a spectator usually. A visit to the theatre or cinema is something else I like to do but have to confess I don't do often enough. When it comes to eating out my favourites are places with a nice cosy atmosphere where you don't feel pressurised to gulp down your food and get out to make way for the next customer!! It's also lovely to have a quite night in listening to music or watching television. I am quite reserved and quiet to begin with but once I get to know someone I consider I have a good sense of humour and can be fun to be with. I retired in October 2013 and am thoroughly enjoying the experience and honestly confess to not being bored with the whole experience yet. I spent a number of years in the Navy so have been very fortunate to have seen good deal of the world at someone elses expense!! Despite that I still enjoy travelling to a degree but equally I find time at home very relaxing and fun.
