About him
Hi,
I decided to re-engineer myself abit after 40 years on the planet. Now I’m nearly 50, I think most of it worked. It's all a learning curve, and you do get to know yourself along the way.
There was me thinking with a good grasp of language, I would find it easy to write this part!
Any hubris I had in my Twenties and Thirties has gone. Assertiveness and determination has not however. Hopefully I’m able to take a wiser more thoughtful approach to things, otherwise what are the grey hairs for!?
I havn't answered everything, because I just can't be that generic. Ask me a question as they say. What have we got to lose?
Although my friends say I'm witty and outgoing, I can be shy, and if I'm really attracted to you somewhat stupefied. However this does wear off, the loss of conversation and the fixed facial expression that is! ;)
I prefer to make an informed decision. Failing that, a gut feeling goes a long way.
Well-groomed, well-mannered, practical and creative. A lone wolf, who also thrives in a pack. I am not afraid of my own company, but also love being in the bosom of family and friends, aswell as meeting new people.
Life’s taught me to never forget about the things that really matter, and has given me a very good and varied sense of humour.
I have travelled widely with my job, and like to think this has made me an open-minded and adventurous person. Although I'm very capable of chilling out, and I know how to relax!
I try to be the best dad I can be. I have a son who’s about to turn 9. He’s one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. I know all parents say that, but I’ve met a lot of human beings!
From experience, talking is key, but really listening is essential.
I do hope I’m thoughtful and empathetic, and able to compromise, that's a healthy partnership I think?
