Lets see...
I was lucky to grow up on a farm in Galway. I like working with my hands, fresh air and working with animals. Right now I work in energy efficiency and sustainability and it is a passion of mine.
I love getting outdoors to cycle, run, hike etc regularly. I joined the Galway Triathlon club recently and if I ever get my swimming up to scratch I might get a triathlon under my belt ;-)
Travelling is a vice of mine - the best trips so far have been an 8 month trip in South America a few years back and I walked the Camino de Santiago last year... great times. I have toured around Europe by bike a few times and loved it. I also lived in San Francisco for a few years which was a wonderful experience.
I read a lot, music is very important to me and above all my family and friends are what it is all about.
In summary -
I am happiest outside when cycling, hiking, walking, taking in beauty, working with animals, working with my hands, people watching, chasing a ball, snowboarding, reading a book, artwalks, spending time with friends...
I am happiest indoors when playing my guitar, woodworking, amusing myself with youtube, having a shower after most of those activities listed above, cooking, eating great food, watching a movie, at a show, researching, reading the news, sleeping, spending time with friends, watching TED, drinking good tea with a biscuit, playing with my nieces when I get a chance...
