About her
You should get to know me because you will have nothing to lose. And I will tell you at least one funny story. And probably a sad story too. And maybe an interesting story? And you will get some exercise, because I like walking, tennis and swimming. And you will have someone to listen to you. Because I do listen, as well as chat.
Have two (older) teenage children. We go to the pub and eat and drink and discuss politics, people and music. One is at university - the other at boarding school, so I do get free time!
I am vaguely ADHD so have the attention span of a flea; consequently I am super organised, having developed list writing, diary keeping and manic thought processes to keep my busy life on track. My friends will tell you I am the most organised person they know.
I am determined to slide sideways into my coffin holding a glass of wine in one hand, a chocolate bar in the other and giggling insanely.
In terms of activities, I play tennis (badly), cycle, swim, read, play games (proper ones, like Scrabble - not mind mess ups), volunteer at my local RSPB site.
Visiting somewhere new - I go to the local art gallery, see what's on at the theatre, check out a good local walk and have a mooch around the (independent) shops. And then I find the music... Classical, Jazz, Rock, Disco... Orchestras, quartets, quintets, bands, duos and soloists.
I occasionally go to the cinema and rarely watch TV. I like things that make me laugh and I don't watch stuff where people are horrible to each other.
Am not materialistic - I much prefer experiences to 'stuff'. This makes me playful, nurturing and affectionate (usually not all at the same time). Physically, I am active but don't do 'keep fit'. Long legs, nice smile, other interesting attributes e.g. a quick brain (ha)¡
Hopeless at household stuff - can do ironing and hoovering but lose interest fairly rapidly. The gardener does the garden. Every two weeks. He is rather awesome at helping me maintain an image of respectability among the neighbours.

My ideal match should be energetic, assertive and funny. They should have some understanding of the unpredictable nature of working, single parent hood and being an orchestra parent.
You should enjoy nature and the countryside, food, music, museums, cities and the beach, weekends away.
Adult stuff is good - so a companion for pubs and cinema and adventures. Open mindedness is an added bonus - who knew zombie runs could be so much fun?
I am quite spontaneous so need to be with someone who doesn't mind a change of plan, quirky suggestions or surprises. I do a lot of socialising (great group of friends) so would like to be with someone who can mingle at casual events (rounders in the park) but is also happy to dress up smart and escort me to a 'function' if required.
I am a hopeless housewife, so you will need to be able to turn a blind eye to unhoovered floors and dusty lampshapes. I manage the washing up once every couple of days, but am invariably distracted from other chores by friends, books or my children.
And children are an awesome distraction - if you don't like teenagers, you will have to move along. Personally, I think they are great - I love their energy, their curiosity and positive outlook - all things I value in everyone.
