About him
I am a loyal,faithful,reliable( makes me sound like the family dog!) and thoughtful man,unselfish and modest.I am very much a one-woman man.I am self-effacing, occasionally a bit too serious,but I easily swing back to laughter (hope you like dry,irreverent,earthy humour...).
How on earth did I get to be 55?Most days I feel about 30- not sure I can quite pass for 30 in looks,but I give it a good stab!I have,at least,managed to remain slim and fit- I even have all my own teeth...
A modern man, well-trained in the domestic arts- but no pushover!
I would say I am well-spoken,articulate,intelligent,infor med,decisive and logical- I don't do drama!
Likes?Aviation(still want to be an astronaut),historic motorsport,gym(grudgingly), eating out,red wine,cycling ( Sometimes in Lycra,yes..),walks,cinema,getting into a good boxed set (Breaking Bad- beyond brilliant...),socialising,activities with my children,voracious reader- fact or fiction.Skiing and scuba when I can( the latter strictly somewhere warm)...and an eclectic taste in music,from classical through to current chart ( thanks to the kids for that).Unsurprisingly,I am an avid Times reader,preferably accompanied by a glass of Malbec....
What gives me goosebumps? My favourite perfume( depends upon who is wearing it,of course,and the touch of said person..),the opening bars of 'Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis',the sound of a Spitfire or Mustang at full speed ( or a V12...),the sound of my kids bursting into laughter over the latest rude joke from school.
I visit a great many places through work,but never get the time to see anything-I would love to change that,especially with the right lady next to me.So many places to explore..
Dislikes? bad manners,thoughtlessness,liars,braggarts, z-list celebrities- you get the drift!
Having accentuated the positives,what about the negatives?
My job entails some very antisocial hours, and after 5 days of that I can be a bit of a zombie, but after a decent sleep or 2 I am a real pussycat!

a positive outlook,tactile and loving- not afraid to display their affection- just the merest touch or look across the room at the right time is sometimes all you need.
